Provo Fashion Week

6:00 AM

This past weekend was the second installment of Provo fashion week, it took place in the Provo library's ballroom which was a great space for the two day event. I must say I was so impressed by all the local talent not only the designers but some of the models carried themselves very well on the runway(considering there isn't much exposure to runway practice here in Utah, they did great). The hair and makeup was done by several different artist even local beauty schools like Paul Mitchell & Aveda, I did notice most of the designers had their models with structured hair. I saw lots of braids and flower pieces. Designer Bree Wilkins had all her models in high buns and bright lips, which went perfect with her feminine designs of sequins. All in all it was a great production and you could tell a lot of work went into the designs and the whole project, I'm excited for this to continue. I had so much fun with my dear friend Karla, so next time the event rolls around take your girlfriend for good night.

Only because you can't spend a million dollars doesn't mean you can't dress like you did. My husband always tells me that confidence is the best asset, and if I'm confident in what I'm wearing that's the key in looking great. I love wearing the color white, I think it can be so sleek and sophisticated which is the look I was aiming for. The top was only $12.50 at forever21 and the pants less than $25 at forever21 also. Just remember you don't have to break your wallet to look flawless!
